Bug Club

Bug Club

A reminder that your child has got a Bug Club password and QR Code in their notebook. It will look like the image below.

If you have a mobile device you can use a QR Scan App to link to the Bug Club website or you can click on the bug club icon down the side of the Year 2 Blog page, or click here.

Bug Club will have online reading books assigned to each student for their home reading. Once a week, instead of reading with a teacher students will have time to read on Bug Club in class. This can also be their home learning as the website can be accessed on any device from home also. Bug Club books will match reading levels as they are in class. Students have a free choice numerous titles through their Bug club account.

For more information click here for our initial blog post originally shared when we started the Bug Club program at Thorrington School.

A reminder that this is every Tuesday - children can drop their library folders off into the post box during the week or on Tuesdays post their books and leave their library bags on the top on the curved wooden desk.

Teachers out of class on Tuesday

As part of release time all three Year 2 teachers will be released from class on Tuesday. Chris Panther (L1), Keith Hamilton (L2) and Olivia Grantham (L3) will be in the Year 2 space for the day.
