WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4!
Kia Ora Year 2 whanau, it is hard to believe that it is Term 4 already... this term is going to go very quickly and with two public holidays, Labour Day (Monday 22 October, week 2) and Show Day (Friday 16 November, week 5) the end of the year will be here in no time!
Inquiry
This term we are continuing on with our Term 3 Inquiry. We have got some amazing experts coming in to work with us.
There will be more information coming home soon about this as we may need some parent help.
Hats
Please be aware that Term 4 is a hat term and your child will need to bring these to school each day, here is the school's hat policy:
Talk to your child about whether you want them to bring them home each day or if they can leave them on their hooks overnight.
Things to know about Week 1:
Whole School Discovery
On Friday all of the teachers throughout the whole school provided Discovery activities for Thorrington students, where your child will get to experience lots of different activities in different learning spaces.
Gala
As you will be aware (from the notice sent home at the end of last term) this Wednesday, 17 October, the Thorrington School Gala is taking place. Please see the notice below for all the information you and your child need for the day:
