Book Week

We had a great time dressing up as our favourite book characters on Friday. The weather really played its part in making the conclusion of book week very successful.

Gardening!

We have been busy with our inquiry this term. Some of us have chosen to get the school gardens tidied up and ready for some plants. Others are making movies, posters and letters to remind people some of the messages we have learnt about looking after our environment. 
A big thank you to those who have donated their time or plants for our project.

Swimming Schedule

We are all set for swimming next week! Below are some tips that make swimming run much smoother for all 😀 

• Togs, towel and goggles (optional) in a separate bag
• Jandals/Flip flops/slips (these are optional but make getting changed much faster and easier)
• A bit more lunch than normal (swimming makes the children very hungry!)
• No sausages on a Friday as we will not be at school over lunchtime.

Because at least one Home Base of Year 2s will be offsite or preparing to be offisite from 11.30am until 2.30pm we will not be sending reading books home for the two weeks we are swimming.
