Term 4, Week 3!

Kia ora whanau!

It was wonderful to see so many families at the celebration for the Kahukura Cluster! The Kapa Haka performances were exceptional and Thorrington students, as always, did us proud!

A couple of things to remember for this week:

Disco - please remember the school disco is going to be held this Thursday (9 November) in the Thorrington School Hall, Juniors 6pm to 6.45pm.
The permission slips need to be handed to the office, with payment by the end of today (Friday 3).

Lemonwood  Grove Visit - on Thursday all of the Year 2 teachers, along with the rest of the Timatanga teachers, are doing PD offsite and visiting Lemonwood Grove School.

Anne MacIntyre, Gillian Hardy and Amber Leung will be in with Year 2.

Library - Tuesday after lunch for everyone in Year 2, feel free to bring your books along on Monday and Tuesday to be returned.

Athletics Practices - started this week and will be happening every week on Thursday for all of Timatanga until week 7 (next week it will be on Friday). Term 4 is a compulsory term for children to wear hats, please ensure your child is bringing their hat every day, especially as we are outside for Sportstart and athletics practice.

Timatanga Art Gallery - coming home with your child today will be a personalised invitation to a very special event to share our learning. This is going to be held on Thursday 7 December, please see the information below:

Athletics Training - all of Timatanga have been working hard practising our athletics skills like running, jumping and throwing. Every Thursday (weather dependent) you will find us out on the field getting ready to show off our skills!
